By next Sunday there is a good chance this object will reach magnitude 7.9--but maybe only 8.2. It is in the process of crossing from Lepus to Orion.

Osamu Miyazaki on Tuesday estimated a magnitude of 7.5. I looked early this morning at about 2:15 and saw nothing (this was from south Baker). I understand Jordan, Jacob and Judah attempted a sighting last night from HRPO but I haven't heard the results.
