Sunset is at 6:09pm CST. The front gate and main building will be open at 7pm. Twilight ends at 7:30pm CST.

Below is the NOAA forecast for HRPO's planned viewing time of 7:30pm to 10pm...

Danko's Clear Dark Sky states that during HRPO's viewing time the transparency rating will be "average" (3 out of 5) and the seeing rating will be "poor" (2 out of 5).

The 20OGS is undergoing maintenance by LSU's Department of Physics and Astronomy. There will be a telescope on the front viewing pad.

BRAS member Merrill Hess will attempt to use the 20OGS for viewing beginning at 8:30pm, if there is a break or opening in the clouds. Twilight ends at 8:34pm CDT.
