Quadrantid Meteor Viewing

Post by Christopher K. »

As the Quadrantid peak is quite brief and as Baton Rougeans miss the peaks periodically as this peak is during the daytime for our area, this thread will be created for all Quadrantid viewing beginning for 2023.

The Quadrantids are expected (according to the International Meteor Organization) to peak about 10pm on Tuesday 3 January 2023. Unfortunately the waxing gibbous Moon culminates at 9:54pm in the Baton Rouge sky.
