On 5 August 2012, the Mars Science Laboratory touched down in Gale Crater. An astonishing success, the Curiosity Rover has helped us understand more clearly what will await us when we arrive at Mars. A special lecture will be given on 5 August, 7:30pm at the Highland Road Park Observatory.
