The Texas Star Party for 2021 has been cancelled due to the inability to obtain insurance (Covid) for the event. The Prude Ranch, where TSP is held, is holding the WesTex Star Party (Their own star party) on May 2nd through May 9th. There are some Covid restrictions. If you are interested, visit

That certainly is a real shame. I can't believe that insurance would be denied, as the typical star party has participants more than six feet apart anyway.
