Really nice halo from Baker, at about 8pm. This winter has been warmer than average and quite foggy. I've seen very few haloes; this may be only the second one.

In this relatively warm weather, no less. The halo shape is ragged due to thin clouds. Hopefully, this is the second many (I saw my first of the season at HRPO.
Right now in Baker: 14C, fair, 78% relative humidity, wind S 5 km/hr.

In order to not expand this thread too much, I will take to placing halo sightings in the thread "General Lunar Viewing" for any particular year. Remember, it is the state of the atmosphere above that increases the chance of a halo--not necessarily what you are feeling at ground level.
