Tomorrow (3:30pm in room 109 of Nicholson Hall), F.X. Timmes of Arizona State University will discuss current news of white dwarfs.

An interesting turn of events.... While conducting a search for brown dwarfs, enthusiastic amateur Melina Thévenot found the first white dwarf ever known to have multiple dusty rings. It's fun to perform citizen science!
