BRAS Observing Chairman John Nagle's "Observing Notes" for April 2022 focuses on the constellation Pyxis...

Pyxis viewing requires a quite low southern horizon. Darkness will be here by 8:55pm CDT tonight, and at that time Beta Pyxidis will be twenty-four degrees up and setting.

Pyxis is between Antlia and Puppis, and above Vela.
