I know there are BRAS members out there doing AP. So please share some of your pictures? I'll get things started by posting a few from earlier this year.

The Mars-Moon-Venus picture is a good accomplishment. Mr. Wally once said that conjunctions didn't appeal to him but I can't get enough. Interestingly, I've never found a definition of conjunction that specified how close two bright objects had to be for the event to be considered a conjunction. In the front of each year's Astronomical Almanac a close pairing will get on the short list of phenomena if the two components are at least ten degrees close. I use a cutoff of nine degrees.

Thanks. I'm generally not a big conjunction "junkie" myself, but that scene "greeted" me at the end of my driveway as I got home from a 10 hour drive. Couldn't pass up the opportunity of trying a few quick shots before I started unpacking.
Attached a moon pic, just 'cause.
