Tonight's presentation is titled "Protecting the Power Grid"; it starts at 7:30pm. The lecture's door prize is an autographed copy of Lisa Calhoun's Superflare.

Danko's Clear Dark Sky states that during HRPO's viewing time both the transparency rating and the seeing rating will be "too cloudy to forecast" (0 out of 5). This evening's 20OGS operator was to be BREC Center Supervisor Jordan Cobbs; however, there will be no viewing. HRPO will close at 9pm; if it rains anytime after 7:30pm, HRPO will closes immediately.

Danko's Clear Dark Sky states that during HRPO's viewing time the transparency rating will be "too cloudy to forecast" (0 out of 5) and the seeing rating will be "bad" (1 out of 5). The premiere physical science demonstration will be the Colors Creator Ocean Series Starfish.

The gate will open at 5:20pm and the building at 5:35pm. The marshmallow roast will take place if it does not rain before 6pm; however, it will be shortened to ninety minutes (6:30pm to 8pm). This evening's 20OGS operator is BRAS member Merrill Hess.

HRPO will close at 10pm; if it rains anytime after 6pm, HRPO will closes immediately.

It has been raining for some time; HRPO is closing at 7pm.

Our first lecture of the new year, as always, will be "The Space Year in Review"; that is on Friday 3 January. Our first Plus Night of 2020 is Saturday 11 January from 6pm to 10pm.
