Below is the NOAA forecast for HRPO's viewing time of 7:30pm to 10pm...
precipitation potential, 0%
sky cover, 0%

surface wind, SW 3 km/h

[Sunset is at 7:20pm CDT. Twilight ends at 8:43pm CDT.]

Danko's Clear Dark Sky states that during HRPO's viewing time the transparency rating will be "above average" (4 out of 5) and the seeing rating will be "average" (3 out of 5). Tonight's 20OGS operator is LSU professor Rob Parks.

Peat predicts that the HRPO location will see three potential visible passes...
*the Cosmos 1980 rocket, mag 2.2 beginning at 8:10pm
*the Cosmos 2322 rocket, mag 2.0 beginning at 9:11pm
*an H-IIA 202 rocket (Spacetrak #27601), mag 1.9 beginning at 9:27pm
HRPO will close at 10pm.
