At this time NOAA has a Flood Watch in effect until 7am CDT. Additionally at Special Weather Statement from NOAA mentions both "frequent cloud to ground lightning" and rainfall that "may lead to localized flooding".

Because of this HRPO will not open tonight.

Beginning this year, HRPO will not be open for viewing on the Saturday night and Friday night that flank the first day of summer. This is due to Daylight Time causing HRPO's closing time to occur just a few minutes after twilight ends.

HRPO will have no viewing on Saturday 17 June and Friday 23 June. HRPO will close at 6pm on both days.
