Below is the NOAA forecast for HRPO's viewing time of 5:30pm to 7:30pm...
precipitation potential, 14%
sky cover, 88%
relative humidity, 73%
temperature, 22˚C

Danko's Clear Dark Sky states that during HRPO's viewing time the transparency rating will be "too cloudy to forecast" (0 out of 5) and the seeing rating will be "average" (3 out of 5).

This afternoon's Edge of Night viewing will focus on objects and events seen during twilight--hence the early start time. NOAA's forecast states that it is likely to be exceedingly cloudy...not a virtual overcast but close to it. Personnel will attempt to supplement the planned activities with a tour of the 20OGS; showing of JPL's "What Up for March"; and information on the Hodges Gardens Star Party, NanoDays, Spring Rocket Camp, the upcoming lectures on Tabby's Star and the Star of Bethlehem, and International Astronomy Day.
