LIFE has issued The Greatest Unsolved Mysteries of All Time, and the final page--page 128--asks "Are We Alone?" The page has a July 2009 Spitzer picture of planetary nebula NGC 4361. The text wonders whether that dying star was once a sun for a civilization, although it admits there is no evidence yet for life elsewhere, "with apologies to the denizens of Roswell".
