TramLinkBR

Post by Christopher K. » June 21st, 2016, 4:10 pm

Baton Rouge officials are considering constructing a tram system (about five kilometers long) connecting downtown to the main LSU campus. As usual, anyone interested in assuring that new construction in town does not contribute any more bad lighting (and hopefully changes bad to good) should have communication with the TramLinkBR people via their public comment policy.

From 5pm to 7:30pm tonight in Meeting Rooms 9 and 10 of the River Center officials from the EBR Transportation and Drainage Department will be hosting an open house for public comment. Mayor Kip Holden will give a brief presentation at 6pm.

Comments will be accepted from the public until 7 July.

I have just sent my statement via the TramLinkBR website. Apparently one has only until midnight tonight--don't dawdle or lollygag! Let it be known that you want a sky above your hometown with natural contrast.
