2019 Light Pollution Committee Meetings

Post by thallig » December 11th, 2018, 10:07 pm

The next Light Pollution Committee meeting will be on Wednesday 9 January from 6:15 pm to 7:00 pm at the Highland Road Park Observatory.

We will be focusing on at least two areas of discussion:

1) which features our new Dark Sky Advocacy page should--and should not--have

2) the results of the brief survey showing what Baton Rouge Astronomical Society members have--and have not--done to reduce light pollution on our respective properties.

Also, here is the link to the most recently publicized minutes of the LPC - http://www.brastro.org/newsletter/2018- ... pdf#page=6

All LPC meetings are open to the public; if you live anywhere in the Greater Baton Rouge Area, please come in. With your help, we can bring about darker skies at the Highland Road Park Observatory.
