The theories continue to abound and I guess the cosmologists continue to spat.

A wonderful supporter of HRPO's Friday Night Lecture Series, a Mr. Hebert, periodically sends out to the personnel (who then share) intriguing pieces illustrating the current state of cosmological thought--and other more practical astronomical concerns. Here's one to which he drew attention: Ethan Siegel discusses in which order the main characteristics of the Universe were born.
