NGC 1531 dwarf galaxy whose ultimate fate is to be swallowed by the more massive, 100,000-light-year-across NGC 1532 (a spiral). The pair lie between 41 Eridani and 43 Eridani to its east, and the very dim constellation Fornax to its west. They culminate (get their highest in the Baton Rouge sky) at the reasonable time of 9pm CST around 22 and 23 January.
