Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Over 7000 light-years away and seven light-years across, the Bubble Nebula lies just across the Cepheus border in Cassiopeia. The star responsible for it is forty-times more massive than our Sun.

An image of the Bubble Nebula was used for the February entry in the 2017 NASA Science calendar...
