X-ray binary stars are just that--binary stars that are extremely luminous in x-rays!
On Monday the 10th at 7pm, Professor Rob Hynes of LSU will give a talk x-ray binary stars. This will be the monthly meeting of the Baton Rouge Astronomical Society; the adult and high school public is invited to attend.
