Once again, here is a comet with varying magnitude estimates as of tonight...
Starry Night software, 13.0
Skyhound, 8.1
S. Yoshida, 8.6 (and he says it'll keep this brightness through early summer)
Heavens-Above, 12.0

Below are the highest practical altitudes in the Baton Rouge sky for the next few nights...
16 May, 4:08am = alt 25˚ / az 126˚
17 May, 4:07am = alt 25˚ / az 127˚
18 May, 4:06am = alt 25˚ / az 127˚
19 May, 4:05am = alt 25˚ / az 128˚
20 May, 4:05am = alt 25˚ / az 128˚
21 May, 4:04am = alt 25˚ / az 129˚
22 May, 4:03am = alt 25˚ / az 130˚
23 May, 4:02am = alt 25˚ / az 130˚

On 19 May LINEAR crosses from Capricornus into Aquarius.
