Post by Christopher K. » January 30th, 2018, 5:26 pm

Ceres is at opposition a few hours after sunrise tomorrow. That mean's it is at its brightest and will remain so through 5 February. Ceres culminates at 12:36am CST at effectively ninety degrees! The Starry Night Pro Plus is giving its magnitude as 6.4. Ceres will be a little less than a degree south-southeast of mag 6.0 K-class RS Cancri.
