SOHO is just one of the many missions initiated during our decades of solar investigation. On Saturday 28 July the Science Academy session at HRPO will be "Surveying the Sun". Science Academy is for eight- to twelve-year-olds. The cost is five dollars per EBR parish Cadet and six dollars per other-parish Cadet. Science Academy begins at 10am...

Since the "H" stands for heliospheric, I'll post this here: On Monday, Earth will cross the heliospheric current sheet, a quite distorted surface separating regions of the solar wind. There may be geomagnetic activity around the poles.
