Saturn Viewing, 2021

Post by Christopher K. »

Right now, Saturn should be visible for a little more than ninety minutes as it rises in the southeast while in Capricornus. Try for ~4:08am to ~5:51am. Saturn is stationary on 23 May.

The Highland Road Park Observatory will be open on Saturday 1 August for the Saturnian Opposition. Any who own binoculars are encouraged to bring them to provide contrast

[Please keep in mind that since HRPO will use its work hours for this Sunday night event, there will be no Evening Sky Viewing on Saturday 31 July.]
