JPSS is a joint environmental effort between NASA and NOAA; it is scheduled to launch on 10 November and was established by NASA FY2011 budget. JPSS will orbit 824 kilometers up and will assist in creating more accurate weather forecasts up to seven days in advance.

Tomorrow at 5:30am CDT on NASA-TV3, live media interviews will take place concerning the System. Then, at 11:30am CDT on both NASA-TVs, a program will air concerning the System.
